I'm Dana Combate...
...a Filipino illustrator and comic artist based in Houston, Texas!
When it comes to visual storytelling, my main inspirations come from the media I grew up on, such as comics, manga, and animated TV shows. Every piece of mine, whether illustration or comic, brings forth a yearning for human connection, heartfelt emotions, and a little bit of chaos. I'm also a sucker for cinematography, and bright colors.
I'm predominantly a digital artist that uses programs like Photoshop and ProCreate, with a bit of expertise in ink and watercolor mediums.
In my spare time, I love to journal, work out, draw fanart, and doodle EVERYWHERE. On some occasions, I even love to animate! I'm an only child with four silly dogs back at home, and I'm always craving french fries. ☆
My spirit animal is a bee.
"i3onded" FUN FACT!The "i3onded" name was something I made back in 7th grade but I stuck to it ever since. It's pronounced "bonded". (Because the lowercase "i" and the "3" make a "B". Yeah.)
